Laurel Mountain Gift Baskets shines through the competition
Easthampton, MA – Marie Lisewski, owner and principal designer at Laurel Mountain Basket Company has earned an award of Excellence in the highly celebrated, internationally attended, ‘National Gift Convention’ at the Boston Gift Show, held September 8 – 11. More than 25,000 business owners have participated in this particular extravaganza since 1986.
Marie won the Award for Excellence, in the category of “Holiday Corporate Gift Designs.” Her gift basket entry, entitled, ‘New England Holiday Sampler’, boasts a plethora of beautifully colored (predominantly reds and golds) items including munchable goodies, miniature fruit shaped ornaments, and plenty of ‘surprises’ for even the most difficult to please recipient. She has wrapped the entire package with decorative cellophanes and the most beautiful, shear ribbon, shaped to compliment the brick red, metallic basket.
The design competition’s qualifying characteristics include, but are not limited to, dramatic visual impression, creative use of container/base, inventive methodology, intriguing concept, integration of complex design elements, and resourceful use of supplies.
